OBJECTIVES
By combining key allergy data points with personalized and comprehensive content, the WebMD Allergy app has the unique opportunity to fill a market need.
This was the first time a free allergy app was going to offer both content breadth and action-oriented tools.
This app is designed to help allergy patients make timely, informed decisions to help them feel better. They can get allergy alerts, monitor their symptoms and treatments, understand which triggers cause which reactions, prepare for their doctor’s visit armed with questions and a customized report and, in short, proactively manage their condition with information and an action plan.
Users are able to select multiple allergy types plus host multiple profiles within a single account, making it a uniquely valuable app in the health space.
